YMCA Before & After School Care - Youth Worker

 Under the direction and supervision of the Site Director, the Activity Leader I is responsible for the care of the children in the Before & After School program, assists the Site Director in the implementation of programming, and interacts positively with parents and school personnel to develop a trusting relationship. The Activity Leader I fosters social, physical, spiritual and mental growth and demonstrates the core values of caring, honesty, responsibility with program participants. The candidate may provide leadership in the absence of the Site Director or Assistant Site Director. A typical Before & After School program runs from 6:30-8:30am and from 3:30-6:00pm, Monday through Friday. However, flexibility may be available to accommodate staff schedules.
