Summer Camp Head Staff
Camp Lindenmere is looking for Camp Counselors & Activity Specialists!
Located in Pennsylvania’s beautiful Pocono Mountains, Camp Lindenmere is a private, coed sleep away camp established in 1935. Our focus is on the individual growth of each child. We offer multi-session programming to best accommodate the needs of our campers. Our campers range in age from 7 to 17. We run Sports, Arts, Performing Arts, and Adventure Activities on a daily basis in our beautiful facilities.
We have an amazing camp community and a big part of that is because of our AMAZING STAFF! We take great effort in finding the best staff. If you are a hard working individual who enjoys children, you may be just the person we're searching for. Staff members must be able to put kids first at all times. It is also essential that staff members be strong role models for our campers. We offer both summer jobs and paid internships.

Head staff roles are for applicants who feel that have the previous experience necessary to oversee both counselors and campers in various roles available. We have a number of senior staff positions available to those applicants who feel they are ready to take their previous experience to the next level. JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Applicants must be 21+ years old.
- Able to communicate and work well with children and other staff members.
- Able to teach/coach/guide beginner through advanced skill levels on specific position hired (if applicable).
- Applicants must be individuals with high moral character and possess a strong work ethic. Working in camp and counseling both children and counselors is hard work! We expect our staff members to be excellent role models for our campers. Previous experience working with children is important. The capacity to provide warm, mature guidance is most important.
- As a condition of employment applicants must pass the staff screening processes which includes: reference checks, criminal background checks, sex-offender registry check, finger printing, and other staff screening checks deemed appropriate.
Compensation . We pay very competitive rates to attract the best staff as well as travel allowance. Room and board plus weekly laundry is included so you really have not expenses at all while at camp!
In addition, we understand that you are also interested in socializing and down-time is important so we have a calendar of staff activities and events for time off. We also have a great staff lounge and and other fun staff perks.
