Digital Marketing Intern (FA 21)

Project Description
Create and work alongside mentor to create social media content for each social media network. This will include gathering photo and video assets, video editing, creating graphic design projects, and writing blog posts. This will be mostly virtual but require about 1 day or so a week to come in for filming.

Additional Internship Duties
·        Create social media content for museum’s social channels in collaboration with the entire digital marketing team.
o   Take pictures and videos as needed for museum’s social media channels or website
o   Create graphics to use on social media
o   Edit and create video content
o   Assist in developing and implementing social media contests related to promotional campaigns.
o   Assist with the writing and scheduling of social posts for internal museum events, exhibits, and promotions
·        Support the Digital Marketing team in social influencer engagement, researching relevant influencers, and maintaining our list of current contacts.
·        Research trending topics and best practices, especially as they relate to current museum promotions and exhibits
·        Review and maintain web, blog, and social media content to ensure a positive online user experience
 
Internship Requirements
  • Experience with photography and videography.
  • Experience working in Canva, Photoshop or other Adobe Design software.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse work environment and impart diplomacy in all situations.

Interns receive a $500 stipend upon completion of the internship.
