Healthcare Operations Consultant

Our consultants have an opportunity to make an immediate impact on client engagements by analyzing client data, developing and presenting creative insights, project managing engagement work plans, and driving sustainable client results. You will work closely with all members of the project team including Empierus partners, subject matter experts and members from the client organization. 

Consultants will work across a range of clients, likely more than one at a time, that vary in scope, team size, location and duration. This makes for an ever-changing, fast-paced, exciting and professionally rewarding experience. A new consultant’s ability to learn quickly and take on additional responsibility is rewarded based on that individual’s pace of progress. There are no pre-defined schedules for promotions at Empierus.

Necessary Skillsets:
  • Ability to conduct insightful analysis and develop data-fueled reports to help our client address some of their complex business issues
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to solve complex problems and easily communicate findings
  • Openness to embrace a frequently changing professional and social working environment
  • Eagerness to deliver value for your Empierus and client teams
  • Ability to take initiative and think outside the box to identify creative observations and recommendations for our clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.0)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% percent of the time; travel varies based on project assignment requirements. While 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, most of our projects do not reach this amount of travel.
  •  Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Willingness to live in Chicago
