Entertainment Intern

The Entertainment Summer Intern will be responsible for identifying and pitching new entertainment/activities/sports ideas as part of our entertainment activities shipboard programming. Developing concepts and ideas from inception through to final installation and execution as part of our newbuild process. Opportunities include assisting in our in-house rehearsal and production studio, our costume shop and scenic/prop departments and analysis of Guest satisfaction metrics and other financial and business analytics projects.

Ø Self-driven and motivated
Ø Exceptional communication skills (both oral and written)
Ø Emulates pride, passion and commitment for their job and conveys excitement and enthusiasm for RCL
Ø Excited to collaborate and eager to learn from others
Ø Proven leadership ability, either in a student organization, project, and/or outside the classroom
Ø Demonstrates a passion for service and commitment to continuous improvement
 
Essential Education & Experience:
Ø Currently enrolled in a 4-year Bachelor or Graduate Theatre, Music, Recreation, Sports Management, Entertainment Business, Dance or Liberal Arts related degree program
Ø GPA of 3.5 or higher preferred
Ø Must have authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent and ongoing basis
Ø Must be able to be employed from May 23rd to August 5th on a full-time basis
