About Working at Camp
Working at camp will be one of the best jobs you’ll ever have. We’re not just saying that, we really mean it. Every summer, thousands of children from all over the country go to camp for a summer of fun, growth, and friendship. But we're not just invested in our campers; we're also invested in our staff. We know that our overall success is a combined effort, and we therefore strive to provide opportunities for our staff members to learn, grow and thrive too.
Staff working at our overnight camps are required to live at camp. This is a seasonal, salaried position from mid-June to mid-August. Dates vary based on location. Food, housing, a travel stipend, comprehensive staff training, and days off are included as part of the compensation package.
About the Position
We are seeking a photographer to capture the daily life of our campers and programs. Experience shooting outdoor and indoor sports is a must, though we have a wide-variety of photographic needs including group photos, portraits, and shooting camper activities such as talent shows and campfires.
This position is not responsible for teaching photography to campers, but all camp staff members will be interacting with campers and must be comfortable working with children.
Ideally we are seeking someone who is well versed in both photography and digital media; however, candidates who are only qualified in photography are welcome to apply.
Students or recent graduates looking to add to a portfolio are welcome to apply. If desired, we can work with applicants and their school to satisfy internship or other school credit requirements.
