Outdoor Activity Manager

Principle Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, lead, and supervise your staff in execution activity area and program
- Lead your team, including admin items such as scheduling and performance reviews
- Direct the set up and takedown of all activity area facilities and equipment
- Compile reports, build/modify SOPs, and maintain inventories
- Ensure that all equipment is used properly, inventoried, and returned in good repair
- Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
- Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook
Qualifications & Training
- 21 years of age or older
- Preferred: experience or education in leading people focusing on company goal and activity
- Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
- Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America
Performance Results
- Completes contract period with 2-4 positive experiences with customers
- Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or participants
- Contribute at least one improvement to the Wheels program
- Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participant
Physical Requirements
- Up to 6 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to 50 lbs.
- Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements HERE
Expect weekly Hours: 45-55
Salary Range: $1,400 - $2,150 (monthly) + Room & Board
