Outdoor Activity Manager

Principle Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, lead, and supervise your staff in execution activity area and program
  • Lead your team, including admin items such as scheduling and performance reviews
  • Direct the set up and takedown of all activity area facilities and equipment
  • Compile reports, build/modify SOPs, and maintain inventories
  • Ensure that all equipment is used properly, inventoried, and returned in good repair
  • Other duties or projects as assigned by SBR leadership
  • Abide by policies and procedure outlined in the SBR staff handbook

Qualifications & Training

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Preferred: experience or education in leading people focusing on company goal and activity
  • Ability to use Microsoft Teams daily for work related communication and coordination
  • Be or become a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America

Performance Results

  • Completes contract period with 2-4 positive experiences with customers
  • Receive one or more Staff Appreciation Cards from staff or participants
  • Contribute at least one improvement to the Wheels program
  • Provide at least one memorable moment that matters to a participant

Physical Requirements

  • Up to 6 hours a day of either standing, walking, hiking, and the ability to 50 lbs.
  • Can pass the physical exam and approved for SBR height and weight requirements HERE

Expect weekly Hours: 45-55
Salary Range: $1,400 - $2,150 (monthly) + Room & Board
