Technology Navigator

CSO is looking for a Technology Navigator. 
This position will provide one-on-one support in homes and for Clinical and Support Options' programs. The Technology Navigator is responsible for supporting persons served in effective use of technology for several purposes: to access telehealth services, to increase independence and to support clinical goals. They will support individuals' access to devices and benefit programs such as the Affordable Connectivity Program.
Responsibilities
  • Supports the purchase and distribution of technology, including smartphones, tablets, and Wi-fi to clients where needed.
  • Provides one on one technical support to clients in the community to support telehealth access and technology goals.
  • Teaches technology basics, including: how to power up devices, access the Internet, and navigate programs (Zoom, email, other common applications).
  • Provides technology aids and reference materials.
  • Conducts an inventory assessment of technology access and skills of clients.
  • Conducts written assessments of client digital access and literacy in order to plan for and support their engagement with telehealth and technology-based care coordination.
  • Collects data as required by the grant on client access and use of telehealth/other services, and digital literacy. 
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required. In some cases, experience may be substituted for academic training. At least 1 year of experience in health care and/or social service, or in a service-user facing technology related field is preferred. Experience working with people with mental health conditions and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferred. Working knowledge of computers, software (Zoom, Outlook, etc.), smart phones, and tablets. Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and follow through with tasks. Ability to function effectively as a member of the Agency Management team with demonstrated collaborative, cooperative, supportive and flexible attitude. Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
