Production Internship 2024
As a Production Intern you will assist your team in developing, sourcing, and executing all of Kohl's private and
exclusive label brands - the ones that are ONLY available at Kohl's (LC Lauren Conrad, Nine West, Sonoma, etc.)
What you'll do:
- Help your office with aspects of the concept to customer process: production, sample management
- Assist with daily activities: quality reviews, vendor emails, meeting set-up, product reviews and purchase order (PO) management
- Shadow and learn from all levels of your team, especially the product development coordinator
- Develop business skills such as collaboration, communication, business analytics and increase product specific knowledge
- Communicate and upkeep of weekly recap info with overseas (tracking color submits, sample status, etc.)
- Support updates in our style management system (One PLM)
- Create and maintain reference libraries for teams (marketing, fabric, etc)
- Provide production input to submit meetings, to ensure on time delivery
- Learn how to influence & manage relationships with vendors, merchants, planning, sourcing, design, tech design, etc.
- Learn costing concepts and components that drive product cost
This is you:
- Undergraduate Junior
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office & Google
- Drive OfficeSuite
- Detail Oriented
- Problem solving
- Self starter / Driven
- Works with a sense of urgency and adapt well to change
- Passion for all aspects of product: sales, market relevance, textiles
- Comfort working & speaking in groups
