Web Design Internship

Clarity is seeking a Web Design Intern to help enhance Clarity's web presence. This intern will be responsible to assist with design of brochures, traditional brand assets, and website front-end components, including banners, landing pages, and social media posts. Projects include assisting the design team in creating sitemaps, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes. While the focus of the internship will be on enhancing Clarity’s website, opportunities for other web design projects may pop up. This will be a hybrid Summer 2024 paid internship in downtown Chicago.

Responsibilities:

Produce web design layouts, color palettes, logos, pictures, and other visual aspects for websites and digital media.

Assist the design team in maintaining and enhancing Clarity’s brand guidelines and branding materials.

Assist the design team in maintaining and enhancing the front-end development of the Clarity website.

Assist in the production of various digital elements including website graphics for landing pages, web banners, email, social media posts, and case studies.

Collaborate with the design team, other departments, and possibly business clients to create innovative content ideas.

Requirements: 

Using front-end code, including HTML5, CSS, etc.

Creating wireframes, user flows, process flows, and site maps.

Up-to-date with the latest web trends, techniques, and technologies.

Excellent visual design skills.

Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wire-framing tools.

Experience using Content Management Systems (CMS).

Excellent writing skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.

The ability to work independently.
