Advertising Sponsorship & Sales Intern

SNY's Advertising and Sponsorship Sales department is seeking a highly motivated, sports business intern to join the team! Interns can expect to gain experience in sales, sponsorship, marketing, advertising, promotions, media and the general sports industry.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting Promotions Manager in developing, scheduling, and executing all promotions on-air and on-site
  • Assisting Promotions Manager in capturing clips and screen grabs of all on-air enhancements
  • Working with sales team managing current clients
  • Working with sales team to prospect new clients
  • Working with sales team to manage and execute special events at the SNY studio, around New York City, and/or at Citi Field
     

Desired Competencies

  • Assisting sales team in other daily administrative tasks including filing, labeling, mailing, etc.
  • Client interaction at Mets games and other events in New York City and/or at Citi Field

 

Qualifications

  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution throughout the program’s duration, with a current academic standing of junior or above
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by SNY
  • Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols

 

Location & Time Commitment

  • This role is onsite at our New York City, NY office, requiring a commitment of a minimum of 32 hours weekly 4 days per week.

Additional Information

The hourly rate for this student internship is $16.00.
