Client near Naperville, IL for 12+ months CONTRACT

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in: Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science/Analytics, Management Information Systems, Mathematics, Natural Science, Economics, Engineering or similar quantitative field

No experience 
EDUCATION 

MUST HAVE EITHER: 
A. Possess Bachelor Degree in Quantitative Discipline

  • - Ideally Statistics, Data Analytics, or Data Science
  • - But ANY quantitive discipline is OK (Math, Econ, Engineering, CS, CIS, Natural Science)

OR 
B. Be in final semester of Bachelor Degree in Quantitive Discipline and able to obtain degree prior to start date.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

  • Will take exceptional Graduates or Students with NO experience based on grades and excellent school projects
  • Having internship or coop experience is a plus
  • Will also consider experienced candidates with 1-5 years in the field

KEY SKILLS 

  1. Skilled at data munging using SQL, Python and pySpark
  2. Skilled in data analysis techniques, regression, classification, clustering, forecasting, and optimization
  3. Presentation skills using PowerBI, PowerPoint and Excel

STRONGLY PREFERRED

  • Experience working with Big Data technologies (Cloudera Hadoop, Snowflake, etc.)

A PLUS (nice to have) 

  • Experience with Azure Synapse, Databricks and Palantir Foundry is a plus
