Position Overview: We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and driven Sales Intern to support our sales team in generating leads, prospecting clients, and driving revenue growth. This unpaid internship offers valuable hands-on experience in sales and business development, as well as the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions. If you're a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in prospecting and qualifying leads through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients, industry trends, and competitive insights.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute sales strategies to reach target customers and achieve revenue goals.
- Engage with prospects to understand their needs, educate them on our products and services, and schedule product demonstrations or meetings.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline opportunities in CRM software.
- Provide support in preparing sales materials, presentations, and proposals for client meetings or presentations.
- Participate in sales training sessions, workshops, and team meetings to enhance your sales skills and knowledge.
- Assist in other sales-related tasks and projects as needed to support the overall sales objectives of the company.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; currently enrolled in a recognized university program (recently graduated is ok).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with prospects and build rapport over the phone and email.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques, with a willingness to learn and develop sales skills.
- Availability to commit to commit appx 20 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
