Valeo is in search of a proactive and detail-oriented Technology Operations Specialist to bolster our dynamic tech team. Reporting to the Director of Technology, this role will serve as a cornerstone in ensuring effective operations by troubleshooting hardware and software issues, answering employee questions, and providing suggestions for potential enhancements to our technology platform. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and a knack for navigating complex technical challenges.

This position is based in our Carmel, IN location and requires consistent office attendance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues (both hardware and software) reported by users across the organization.

Develop and maintain documentation, knowledge articles, and training materials to support user education and self-service.

Assist with technology procurement and inventory management.

Perform data administration tasks such as merging records, clearing duplicates, conducting quality assurance checks, and uploading data to key proprietary systems.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to solve technical problems or assist in implementation and enhancement of new technology systems.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. An equivalent blend of experience may be considered in lieu of this requirement.

2+ years of experience in a technology support role, with a demonstrated ability to handle a wide range of technical issues.

Proficient with Microsoft Suite products including Azure/Entra, Microsoft Admin Center, Office, Teams, OneNote, etc.

Experience with Salesforce, Salesforce Knowledge, and Salesforce Cases a plus.

Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network connectivity issues, remotely and in-person.

Proven track record of providing high-quality customer service to internal users, demonstrating patience, empathy, and an employee-centric approach.

Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, understandable language for users with varying levels of technical proficiency.

Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks based on business needs.

Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
