E-Commerce & Marketing Internship

The company is headquartered in New York City and maintains a distribution facility in Indianapolis, Indiana. Wholesale customers include numerous department stores such as Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, Lord & Taylor and Dillard’s, specialty retailers such as Amazon, as well as over 1,200 independent boutiques. Additionally, the company also has a fast growing Direct to Consumer (DTC) business via a company owned website (www.Lyssé.com). With significant growth potential, Lyssé has made it a priority to heavily invest in the DTC channel.

 

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will be an e-commerce enthusiast with a passion for women’s fashion and retail who excels in a fast paced and collaborative environment. The candidate will need to have an understanding of the e-commerce landscape and ability to identify emerging trends to help make strategic, data driven decisions. In addition to being an e-commerce rockstar, the ideal candidate will be highly organized, have strong communication skills, detail oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

 

Responsibilities Include:

E-commerce: 

  • Maintain dotcom platform and partner with e-commerce team 
  • Continually review and optimize the merchandising of the website and product set up, coordinate on collection launches, marketing campaigns, promotions, etc
  • Competitor research for site optimizations
  • Assist in inventory and product set up on Shopify for new launches and collections
  • Partner with the e-commerce team to update the site and effectively tell our brand story 
  • Ensure the site is current with newest styles and associated product images, descriptions and other product specific details
  • Support returns process and our customer service team to provide exceptional customer care 
  • Support on channel stock availability to help drive impact on e-commerce sales

Marketing:

  • Support in large marketing campaign efforts to ensure 360 brand alignment
  • Assist in supporting trade marketing activities and developing marketing materials 
  • Coordinate the distribution of product samples to influencers ensuring timely delivery and maintaining communication to facilitate potential collaborations and partnerships

 

Requirements:

  • College student working towards a merchandising, marketing, or related degree
  • Proficient in Windows - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Shopify experience a plus
