Summer Intern - Healthcare Technology firm

Sonicu, a rapidly growing healthcare and life science technology company, is recruiting a graduate school intern to conduct essential marketing, sales and business development activities. 

This intern will work in a fast-paced environment alongside a talented team of engineers and sales/marketing professionals as well as customers from some of the finest names in healthcare and research, including IU Health, NASA, Stanford Health and the VA Medical Center. 

We also enjoy partnerships with Schneider and other respected healthcare brands, and this intern can seize the opportunity to build their network in healthcare as well as respected firms that serve the industry at scale today. 

The activities include but are not limited to: 

• Lead the development of a GTM (go to market) plan for Sonicu’s new monitoring hardware: the low-cost S Series 
• Conduct competitive analysis in new markets focused on price and messaging to penetrate new markets 
• Conduct deep and wide competitive research that helps Sonicu forge a unique position in the healthcare and life sciences industries, with special emphasis on IU School of Medicine and IU Bloomington researchers 
• Lead the construction of an educational campaign around healthcare and life science regulatory requirements for our products and services that positions Sonicu as the industry leader in knowledge and expertise, including:
  • White papers
  • Videos
  • Customer Podcast production 
  • Webpages 

• Leverage government databases to find business opportunities
  • From agencies that suffered fines/penalties
  • From agencies awarded for excellence 
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research on prospects and opportunities
• Write content based on the results of all of the above activities 
• Conduct phone and email interviews with customers and prospects 
• If comfortable and able: conduct sales calls with prospects and learn the fundamentals of healthcare and life science marketing
