Digital Assets Intern: Art Studio

Paid Internship — We need help at Studio Danielle Klinenberg with a cataloguing project. Work with our principal to assist in updating painting inventory. Insert images and provenance into database. Support web design team as the point person on information about artworks. 

We are open to a student doing this work part-time in May, but we hope to find someone who will stay with our studio longer – this summer and into the fall, with occasional projects or part-time work. Upon the successful completion of this project, we hope to continue the internship through summer 2024, with the possibility of extending hours from one to two-three days weekly and increasing your stipend. Additional tasks might include: assisting in the creation of a new database, point person for data entry, and learning to assist in gallery operations. 

Intern will learn: Gallery management, sales support, studio management, data management. Support a successful, contemporary artist who runs her own business. 

Skills: Attention to detail, organized. Bright and positive demeanor. Digital photography (copy work) helpful. Time management. File management. Aptitude to learn new software. Problem solver. Adept with writing and editing.

Additional part-time unpaid internships or internships with performance based-compensation might be available for motivated, capable students. 

Also please note, this is a job to support an artist and her studio. You will not do any drawing or painting in your role with our organization.
