Project Coordinator

The Careers in Public Service Project Coordinator VISTA will engage with the Maryland Department of Budget Management to discuss ways to craft and implement the National Service Hiring Priority. The member will research public policy best practices including how other states have implemented similar goals. The member will develop a communication strategy to connect current service members and alumni to current government jobs. This will include social media posting and creating different media targeted at the audience of service members/alumni. The member will also design materials targeting employers to extoll the value of national service alumni as quality employees.
