Materials Analyst, Dual Beam

Nanolab Technologies, Inc. seeks Materials Analyst, Dual Beam in Milpitas, California. Duties: Perform sample prep and imaging using Dual Beam FIB tools; Work closely with tool vendors to understand tool performance; Develop new techniques to improve throughput; Perform basic tool maintenance and calibration; Communicate with customers and prepare PowerPoint reports; Provide technical direction and approve analysis steps, results, and reports.

Requirements: position requires a bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field plus knowledge or experience gained in all of the following through any combination of education coursework or experience:  dual beam FIB and SEM operation; experience with TEM sample preparation;  understanding of electron microscopy, semiconductor device physics, and failure analysis; Knowledge and hands-on experience with SEM/STEM (Scanning Electron Microscope/Scanning Transmission Electron Microscope); Organizing, scheduling, prioritizing, and assigning jobs to group members.

Salary Range: $84,240 to $130,000
