What I liked

It was a very hands on experience. I had the opportunity to work on real projects that affected the company financially. I also love how the company is very friendly and invests in their interns. I also had opportunities to meet the CEO and CFO.

Product Marketing Engineer Intern

What I liked

I was given challenging, rewarding work and was treated like an equal member of the team. I was given flexibility to add different components to my projects and even had the chance to design my own projects. The company planned intern events to get to know the other interns and explore Tucson.

What I wish was different

I wish there was a multi-role project designed for interns which were considering several roles within the company.

Advice

Don't be shy. From my experience, every employee at TI is willing to help and guide you to succeed at your internship and career.

Work environment was amazing. TI provided many resources to see me succeed, and I got to know upper level management, like the CIO, on a personal level.

What I wish was different

I wish they would offer a student co-op during the semesters.

What I liked

Great, large company environment, friendly coworkers always willing to help. Cool experience learning about part of chip development. Kept busy most of the time.

What I wish was different

Could have had more intern focused social events. Happy hours, sports games, weekend adventures, etc.

Advice

Work hard and don't be afraid to ask about many opportunities within the company if you don't like your intern role.

Great environment and projects that really showed that your work was valuable.

What I wish was different

Not much. It is a large company so if you don’t work well in that sort of environment TI probably isn’t for you.

Advice

Don’t be afraid to track people down who do the things you think are interesting and cool. No one will ever be annoyed that you’re interested in learning about what they do.
