“As a graduate student, I was in search of an internship that would place me in a setting where I would be able to contribute my strong skillset and feel like an asset but simultaneously, I could also receive meaningful work that would introduce me to new concepts and teach me what I had not yet covered in the classroom. This is exactly how I would describe my summer as a sustainability intern. The first few days were a couple of informative orientation days that demonstrated the intentional planning that went behind the construction of the internship program. Supported by a mentor and an engaging supervisor, the summer days went by so quick while I learned more about the organization’s sustainability initiatives and reporting methods helping create a comprehensive picture of ESG and corporate sustainability. ”
